Simply Written: CNA Knowledge Exam Study Guide

Simply Written is a study guide designed for nursing assistant students to prepare them for the state certification exam. This is a proven and successful study guide to pass the knowledge portion of the nursing assistant state exam.
The guide is specifically structured detailing a study method for the certification exam administered by Headmaster LLC. The review methodology is the game changer; it brings into focus the important things needed to successfully complete the exam and pass, such as the attached practice exams. Take as many practice exams as possible; this will be to your advantage. The more you practice, the better you will become at answering questions; and understanding the process of elimination.
The state exam is 65 questions multiple choice. There will be two answers you can eliminate immediately and the last two, only one will be best choice. Always reread the question and look for key words, always, most, never, except; these words will help you decide which is best answer and most logical.
When Headmaster came to Michigan, the knowledge part of the exam had a medical terminology list of over 200 words. Knowing the vocabulary words is critical, because many of the words are embedded in the test question. Initially it was a challenge how to incorporate teaching the expansive vocabulary list; until I came up with the idea to develop a specific detailed study guide for Headmaster.
The purpose initially was to help students by any means necessary to keep the schools passing rate in the high 90 percentile. I realized early on, most students would not take the time to look up over 200 definitions, so I took on the tedious job to look up most of the definitions in its simplest form.
Students, it is imperative you look over the words. When you don’t know a definition, it is difficult to answer the question, even when attempting to use the process of elimination. I encourage you to review the words in this study guide, and the words you are not familiar with, write them out and study them. I have put definitions to over half of the vocabulary to get you started; Now, it’s your turn to engage in completing the rest.
The State Headmaster exam per the handbook consist of 65 multiple choice questions, allotted one (1) one hour. You only need, 74% minimum score to pass the knowledge exam.
